Moorfields Ealing Outreach Within Ealing Hospital

Ealing Hospital, Uxbridge Rd, Southall UB1 3HW, UK – 020 8967 5766

I would this hospital 5 star ratings, Staff are very courteous, professional, compassionate, My mom sight was near in a another hospital but Moorfield intervene and operated at the right time. Hopefully she might gain her vision back. I would like to thank all the staff while mom was on waiting list staff made sure to call me back everyday for reassurance. Staff are very puncutal about the patients appointment.

I have had various problems with my eyesight (I won't bore you with the details), and I've attended this clinic on numerous occasions. The staff have always treated me with respect, kindness and professionalism. Regardless of their position within the clinic. It can get be busy, owing to it's good reputation, so be patient and understanding. They deal with different types of problems related to the eye. Therefore, you go to separate sections within the consulting area into which you are called by whoever is treating you. This means people may arrive after you but have their names called out before yours. Occasionly, this can cause murmours of complaint from people in the waiting area who are unaware of this and think someone is jumping the queue. When in fact, they are just seeing a different specilist to you. If this place was run by a bunch of incompetent, indifferent (choose your own expletives at this point) I'd gladly tell you all about it. Nowhere is perfect and this outreach clinic of Moorfields' is no exception to that rule. However, besides their medical expertise, they also understand that problems with ones eyesight can be very worrying for patients and, their relatives or loved ones who attend the clinic with them. It's this combination which makes the difference between somewhere being average or excellent. And, fortunately, for myself and many others this place is excellent. It's okay. You're in safe hands. P.S. There is a vending machine at the clinic with the usual sort of content. And, as usual, there is a numbered keypad where you enter the appropriate numbers to get what you want. So, remember to take extra care when entering the number for the choice you've made. Otherwise, you'll be another patient with eye problems who ended up getting a packet of cheese & onion crisps instead of the bar of chocolate you wanted. 👍❤

The new NHS website below is very well worth a look. Hospitals are not only listed but evaluated. I certainly know which ones I would go to! At the very least you will know what questions to ask if you are sent to one which has not entered its data. Good luck!
