Local Bookshops

2-6 Hill St, Richmond TW10 6UA, UK – 020 8332 1600

Worth a visit just to see the building! A big selection of books as well as stationary and gifts. The upstairs is a Waterstones Cafe with views down into the store and out into Bradford. It's an excellent place to people watch.

This bookshop seems to have a lot of space but it's maybe not used very well. Good selection of nonfiction at the very top of the building but I wasn't impressed with the fiction. It'd the first time I've been in a bookshop in a long time and the fantasy/science-fiction area was pretty tiny. I suppose that's because that market is buying more on Amazon these days. Friendly and helpful staff though. It is a relief to know that there's still a shop you can walk into and get a book though. There can't be many of those these days.

Good sized store with very helpful staff. Has a downstairs also. Recommended

I large bookstore in a very good location in the Ealing Broadway shopping center. Has friendly staff and relatively good prices, with an excellent comfortable and quiet atmosphere.

Such a lovely team and like the other reviewer says, use Amazon then call them up and they'll have it in for the next day minus the postage. A great way to shop local!

Really helpful and pleasant. I use them like Amazon and phone up to order a book - whatever it is they get it the next day. Save on postage; avoid the hassle of not being in when the parcel is delivered and give custom to a local business which pays its full quota of tax!
