A proper old school Cinema. Getting a bit grubby around the edges now and could do with a kick of paint but generally well maintained. Only has 3 screens in the original building (there are more screens in a separate building a few minutes walk away). Obviously cannot compete with the giant multiplexes but there is a feeling of nostalgia you just can't beat when watching a movie in a traditional old school Cinema building.
Nice cinema experience, with great popcorn and service. We booked online the same day. Unfortunately all cinemas in the UK are a bit expensive, but at the end we received a free poster so their guilt was apparent.

Richmond Odeon Red Lion street is very small and there were only two members of staff and they were serving. Half way through our film (15a) a mother and her and her two young children came in and sat down and started disturbing everyonebefore realising they were in the wrong film which would have never happened if they had enough staff. I don't even want to think about the mess left in the screen.
Nice cinema although there are no chairs to wait if you’re early. There used to be seats at the entrance but have now been taken away. Not very accommodating for those who can’t stand for long periods!

Nested on a quiet lane towards Richmond Riverside, this branch of the Curzon chain offers comfortable chairs and good sound system, quality films and the opportunity to watch them with a glass of champagne or wine. It gets sold out quickly over the weekends. Book in advance. Don't be put off by the screening being sold out. Give them a call as many members get free tickets with their membership but sometimes don't turn up. Enjoy the performance as much as we always do.
Lovely little cinema right by the river. I will always come here to see the NT Live productions (if I haven't left it too late and they've sold out...) The customer service and overall experience is well worth the ticket price.

My favourite theatre in London. It's an incredibly intimate perfoming space where directors have to think about how to stage in the round and have to meet the unbelievably high standards that have been set in the last couple of years. Three of their original productions have gone on to the West End, two of those to the National Theatre! No other tiny, unfunded theatre packs so much punch. Also the staff are just the nicest, most helpful people you could hope to meet. If you can't get here, go and see " An Octoroon", their latest production now opening at The National Theatre.
Small friendly off West End theatre with an amazing choice of original and unjustly forgotten drama. If you're keen on theatre, go there! Richmond is very easy to get to and the orange tree is 5mins walk. Good pub opposite

I've been involved with this theatre for years now, and can't see myself leaving any time soon; even though I live quite far away! The theatre has amazing facilities - a studio space, the Judi Dench Playhouse and also several rehearsal spaces. There's a cafe upstairs and an extremely nicely-priced bar downstairs. The people are all welcoming and friendly. The theatre also runs several educational courses for different ages, abilities and time commitments. Can't recommend it highly enough.
I wish that I still lived in Ealing. Working back stage with genuine and keen people so very helpful. The Grapevine Bar is also a treasure and a safe place for women to have a drink without being pestered

A lovely maintained local arts centre with one cinema screen. The film's are current and there are other cultural events occurring on a regular basis. There is lots of on site parking which is free for the first hour. Although it is in need of modernisation, as a local charity it serves the community quite well.
Great place to relax good rates for cinema as well as a great Indian. Child friendly and there are loads of holiday activities for them.
